IBM Adds Intel® Cluster Ready Compliance
IBM recently completed an Intel® Cluster Ready certification of a solution using NeXtScale systems with IBM Platform HPC. NeXtScale is the latest addition to IBM's x86 portfolio, designed for flexibility, simplicity and scalability to lower operating costs for compute and data-intensive workloads in technical computing, big data and cloud environments. Platform HPC software is easy-to-use, comprehensive HPC management software. It includes a rich set of features that simplify cluster deployment and use, including integrated xCAT software which enables you to manage and monitor IBM NeXtScale hardware effectively. The certification demonstrates the capability of combining NeXtScale and Platform HPC into a solution enabling interoperability with the range of Intel Cluster Ready registered applications.
New Intel® Cluster Ready Appliance for HPC Simulation
Altair has just completed an Intel® Cluster Ready certification for their turnkey appliance, HyperWorks* on Demand. This managed private cloud appliance unites Altair’s HyperWorks CAE and PBS Professional* software with powerful compute hardware based on the family of Intel® Xeon® E5 processors. With HyperWorks Unlimited, you can access all Altair software as needed to run your CAE simulations on a plug-and-play Intel Cluster Ready appliance. Click here for more information.
