When you install Intel® Parallel Studio XE 2016 on your system using the Serial Number provided in the registration email, a license file will be created and installed on your system. This is a unique license file and is locked to that system. As such, the license file from one system will not work on another system.

If you installed the product on more than one system, each system will have its unique license file. If you need to obtain the license file for a specific system after installation you need to do the following:

  1. Obtain the Host ID of your system. You will need it to identify the corresponding license file.
How to find the host ID for a Named-user license.

  2. Log in to the Intel® Registration Center by entering your login ID and password. You will see a list of all the products to which you have subscribed.

  3. Select the desired product from the list. You will be taken to the Subscription History page. Click Mange to see the license information for the serial number.

  4. Each system you installed on will have a unique license file with unique list of Host ID.

  5. Use the list of Host ID you obtained from your system to locate the corresponding license file. Note: You don’t have to match the entire list. Matching one of the values will suffice.

  6. Once you identified the license file associated with your system you will be able to download it or send it to the email address associated with the license.

  7. For instructions on how to locate the license file on your system refer to: "How do I manually install my new license" in the licensing FAQ
