Motivation
If you are installing any of the Intel® Software Development Products on a system with no internet connectivity, internet activation will not work. Additionally, if you have a firewall that prevents online activation, you can fall back to offline activation.
Obtaining Your License File
In order to activate your software using offline activation, you will need a license file. You should have received a license file when you registered your software. If you did not, or if you no longer have this available, you can log in to the Intel® Registration Center and have your license file resent. To do this, click on the product for which you need the license file. Under the product page, click the Manage link. At the bottom of this page, there is a button "Resend license file to my email". Click this button to have the license file resent.
Activating Using the License File
During the installation process, you will be prompted to activate your software. Choose Alternative Activation Methods and then select Activate Offline. You will need to enter the location of the license file. Either manually enter the path to the license file or click Browse (GUI installer only) to select the location of the license file. Click Next, and the license file will be used to activate your software.
