Enabled by open-source software contributions, the hardware features of Intel® architecture help address security concerns typically associated with adoption of public and private cloud computing. As a result, adopters can rely on a known, trusted compute environment and enable data encryption while still meeting performance requirements and automation needs. Open-source cloud-management systems such as OpenStack* support these capabilities in servers based on Intel® Xeon® processors by means of Intel® Advanced Encryption Standard New Instructions (Intel® AES-NI) and Intel® Trusted Execution Technology (Intel® TXT). |
