Intel's goal is to provide you the best possible developer tools—today and tomorrow. So that we can keep improving our software we collect two kinds of information. When you install Intel® Parallel Studio XE we collect information that helps us understand your installation status and environment, and when you use Intel® Parallel Studio XE we collect information that helps us understand how frequently you use each component.
Information collected is not shared outside of Intel.
Intel does not collect:
- Business or personal information
- Information about non-Intel software other than operating system and IDE
During installation we collect the following information:
- System information: Operating system and version, IDE, locale, date and time, architecture, processor, and MAC address (truncated to 2 bytes)
- Intel software product and licensing information: Product name, license type, serial number, and installation process details
When you use Intel Parallel Studio XE we collect the following information:
- System information: Operating system and version, date and time, and architecture
- Intel software products: Which Intel software component is used
