The Euler* platform is an important distributed offline computing platform that supports machine-learning-related computation models for real businesses. For Qihoo360 Technology Co. Ltd., a Chinese Internet security company, the performance of the Euler platform on Intel® Xeon® processor-based servers is critical. Engineers from both companies worked together closely to optimize the speech recognition module of the Euler platform using Intel® Math Kernel Library (Intel® MKL), speeding up performance by 5x.
