If you decided to evaluate Intel® VTune™ Amplifier you may have encountered the following error when trying to install it.
License Check Failed. Intel VTune Amplifier XE 2015 cannot find a license file. Data cannot be displayed. Error 0x4000001f (No valid license) -- License file is not found. Make sure that your license file is in the correct location and readable.
When installing the product you are given three options: Use a serial number, Evaluate this product or Choose alternative activation.
DO NOT use the second option: “Evaluate this product”.
Choose the first option “I have a serial number”. You can find the serial number in your registration email under the heading “Problems activating your product?”
If you intend to install the product on a system that is not connected to the Internet you will need to obtain a license file for the offline installation.
- Go to Intel® Registration Center and log in with your credentials.
- Click on Intel® Vtune Amplifier.
- In the Subscription History page, under Admin, click on Mange.
- In the Manage License page you will find your license file. You can download or send it to your email.
