We released Intel® Advisor XE 2016 Beta Update 2 shortly after Update 1 to address issue with Compiler compatibility. Intel® Compiler 2016 Beta Update 1 was found to be incompatible with Intel® Advisor XE 2016 Beta Update 1 and older releases of Advisor XE. In order to use the latest Intel Compiler, please upgrade to Intel® Advisor XE Update 2.

Symptoms of the issue
You might see the issue if your binary is built with Intel® Compiler 2016 Beta Update 1 and proper compiler options, but Advisor XE 2016 doesn’t show many diagnostics in “Survey” report, such as “vectorized or scalar loop”, “why not vectorized”, compiler diagnostics, etc. To resolve the issue, upgrade to Intel® Advisor XE 2016 Beta Update 2.
